Comments (2) Transsexual Performer of the Year to Receive Award on Stage in Future
Pursuant to the outcry voiced here and throughout forums and blogs in the TS community and by email and in person, AVN and three Transsexual Performer of the Year nominees met Thursday, Feb 2 to discuss the issues raised initially by Brittany’s outspoken press release following the revent AVN Awards Show. The AVN representatives were sensitive to the legitimate issues raised by Brittany and many others, from Kelly Pierce to Steven Grooby, while also clearing up some misunderstandings and incorrect statements made by the protesters. Among other points of note, AVN annouces that in the future, the Transsexual Performer of the Year will receive her award on stage like all other main categories.
